Mark arrived to evaluate my ageing air conditioner unit. Mark explained the costs and options and I agreed for him to continue. Marks diagnosis identified a leak and recommended replacement as repair would offer limited warranty with the worry of future failure. I agreed and we agreed on a price with a deposit up front. Installation will be in a week or so. Mark asked if I had any other electrical concerns? I said I had been considering upgrading to compliant smoke alarms. Mark offered he had time and got to work installing and testing the new units. Mark was excellent to deal with, I am very happy with the result.

They immediately rearranged their schedule and moved jobs around to make sure they were on-site at 7:30am the next morning to assess the situation, come up with a game plan, and get straight to work.The two lads who attended were professional, respectful, genuine and easy to deal with from start to finish. Today we had 2 really good ladies fix our electrical problem. Jaymie and Lizzie were excellent. Very thorough and kept me updated. They also went to the supplier to get the part and came back and fixed it. They also found a stray dog on our street and we all walked the streets for a good 30 minutes to try to find the owner. In the end the ladies took the dog to the local vet to try to identify the owner. First class service. 10 stars.

They converted several single outlets to doubles, installed entirely new double plug points, and resolved a frustrating data point connection issue that had been bothering us.From the start, they provided a very clear explanation of exactly how the works would be carried out. What really stood out was the level of care they took with our home; they were extremely mindful of our personal items, moving and protecting our TVs and wall pictures before starting any drilling or wiring.Once the job was finished, they didn't leave a speck of dust behind. They cleaned up and removed all debris caused by the installation, leaving the area exactly as they found it. What's the difference between a Level 1 and Level 2 EV charger?

A Level 1 charger uses a standard 10A household power point and is the slowest option, typically adding 10–15km of range per hour. A Level 2 charger uses a dedicated circuit and can add 25–100km of range per hour depending on the charger and your vehicle. For most homeowners, a Level 2 charger is the practical choice.

Do I need to upgrade my switchboard to install an EV charger?

Not always. Many homes have sufficient capacity in their existing switchboard to support an EV charger installation. However, older homes may need a switchboard upgrade or additional circuit first. Our electricians will assess your setup during the quote and advise you accordingly, at no charge.

Can I install an EV charger myself?

No. EV charger installation requires a licensed electrician by law in Australia. This ensures the installation meets Australian wiring rules and is safe for long-term daily use. A DIY installation could void your charger’s warranty and create a serious safety risk.

How long does an EV charger installation take?
